| SWANS YOUNG GUNS START THEIR JOURNEY |
The initial training squads for the WA State 16s and WA State 18s teams have been announced following a thorough and challenging selection process.
Both squads include a number of young Swans Talent such as Nicholas Naitanui and Chris Yarran. MORE>
2008 SWANS DEVELOPMENT
2008 sees the Swans development team in full swing with new initiatives to grow the game in our District being rolled out weekly.
We launched the Swans South West Talent academy in our Bunbury region early 2008 to ensure we are supporting the development of our colts, 16’s and 14/s/15’s development squads in the region. MORE>
Swans Member and Supporter Lawrence Burlo had the honour of tossing the coin prior to the commencement of the Swans versus East Fremantle game on Saturday.
Mr Burlo had been provided this opportunity by being the successful bidder for this prize at the 2007 Swansmen Dinner Auction. As well as tossing the coin Mr Burlo was also a guest of the coaching panel in the coaches box for the duration of the match.
All Swans Members and Supporters have the opportunity to bid for this prize as well as other prizes at this years Swansmen Dinner Auction on 27 July 2008.

SCHOOL HOLIDAY CLINIC
We have hosted the first of our School Holiday clinics with over 200 kids converging on Steel Blue oval and being coached by the Swans Colts & League Players and our special guests from the West Coast Eagles included Adam Hunter, Andrew Embley, Ash Hanson, Tony Notte, Ryan Davis and Callum Wilson (all Swans Based boys too!). The kids had a ball and left with a Swans show bag and their jumpers full of autographs.
